First up was Alice Aycock a local, renowned sculptor. Alice uses 3dsMax to pre visualize her work when planning her art, as well as to show her design intent to her clients. She was an entertaining presenter and was obviously taken with the things Max allowed her to do in her beautiful artwork. Her talk was illustrated first with a Max rendering then a photo of the same sculpture. There was a Q & A that followed - she was a big hit.

Next Kim Lee did a presentation of what his company 'Worlds Away' has been up to lately. As always very informative and very entertaining. There was a Q & A that followed.

Then we, as a group, got into a discussion about what we each wanted to get out of the User Group. Everyone got a chance to say the kind of topics they would like to hear about. We wrote up a list that night, so we'll see how we can go about satisfying the group's interests. We discussed the possibility of an area on our website to post ideas for future meetings.
