Did you ever think you could make a video game in forty-eight hours? The Global Game Jam says you can! In fact, participants will be making games at 44 different locations in 15 countries around the world including right here in New York City, at Teachers College Columbia University.

If you are an student or a professional, an artist or a designer, a programmer or a producer, or even if you've never even thought about making games before we invite you to come and make games with us. You'll get hands-on experience developing games, the chance to meet other New York area game enthusiasts, and publicity for your finished product through the Global Game Jam organization!

This year's Global Game Jam runs from 5 pm, January 30, 2009 to 5 pm, February 1, 2009. It'll be forty-eight hours you'll never forget!

If you want to be guaranteed a spot, pre-register by January 23rd at our website: http://www.tc.columbia.edu/ggj2009/ Check out our site for more details, or contact Amy O'Neal (aeo2120@columbia.edu) for more information.

We look forward to making games with you!
