DIY RP (Do-It-Yourself RapidProtoTyping) Presentation by the creators of the MakerBot. Finally - an AFFORDABLE
option for those interested in generating physical objects of their 3D designs - whether you want to do this as a
Hobby or for Business purposes. Adam from MakerBot Industries, and of the co-founders will bring one of the MakerBot
systems to the meeting, and give a presentation on the system. Through out the course of the evening - he will be running
the system and generating objects - which we will raffle off to the audience Adam will give a little history on the device
- which was presented at SIGGraph 2010 in The Studio.
We are also planning to Demonstrate Sculptris - a Free 3D app which is great for Organic modeling. The plans - at this point -
is to demo Sculptris - and in the course of the evening - produce a model - which will be generated on the MakerBot by the end
of the evening!
